Comfortable. Pleasant. Agreeable.

Everyone gets stuck.

Stuck on a home work assignment.

Stuck on an old relationship.

Stuck in the monotony of life.

Some times your so stuck you need a helping hand (and maybe some rope) to come haul you out of the situation that you're up to your neck in.

The problem is you don't even realize that you're stuck because well... you're comfortable.

Comfortable with the girl that wants your full attention EVERY weekend.

Comfortable not trying hard enough for A's, because everyone knows a C is still a degree.

Comfortable living at home with your parents cause that's just where you've been for the last 4 years. Comfortable with your headphones in on the way to class just so you don't have to acknowledge the other people on the sidewalk

Maybe it's time to stop being so comfortable. To stop eating lunch with those same 5 people you know so well. To break off that "great" relationship so you can find who you are again. To take out your head phones, cause in reality you know you're sick of the same old music anyways.

One thing I know for sure: we all could use a change.

Maybe that means getting out of our snuggies and smiling at a few strangers.
